Short Mountain Red Pecker Rye
Chocolate malt, rye malt, and rye, distilled in the hills of Woodbury and allowed to sleep for 4 years in charred new oak. The nose explodes with layers of molasses, maple syrup, chocolate cake, herbaceous eucalyptus, and oak. There is a certain level of simplicity amongst the chaos. The chocolate rides throughout the palate and into the finish, clinging to each and every last tastebud.
